This designation by the Colorado Parks and Wildlife reflects exceptional water quality and fish density, with over 60 pounds of trout per acre AND more than 12 trout per acre measuring 14 inches or longer.

Our go-to fishery is the Arkansas River in between Canon City and Salida during April-May and July-October. Jason has a few favorite spots in this 50+ mile stretch of Gold Medal water. During June, join us on the South Fork of the Rio Grande river for some incredible dry fly action!
